Immersive Sound: Music from the Mikvah

Join the Jewish Museum of Maryland for a night of music in connection with the mikvah ritual bath space of the historic Lloyd Street Synagogue. The event will feature a live performance by Glorian, a conversation with MEGAFAUNA, and screening of video recordings of six Baltimore bands playing in the mikvah’s ritual space: Glorian, EyasAmy ReidG.O.L.D.Gay Baseball and MEGAFAUNA.

The event will also be a chance to schmooze over food and drinks, check out the music videos recorded in the mikvah and explore the new art exhibit Material/Inheritance: Contemporary Work by New Jewish Culture Fellows.

Admission is free and registration is encouraged, but not required. You can register for the event using this form. 

Face masks are recommended, but not required in the Museum building. Masks are available at the front desk for visitors who wish to wear one.
